Working With Me

I qualified in Sports Therapy from UCLan in 2013 and have been working in private practise ever since. 

Whether you are a professional sports person to a pregnant mother, I am confident there will be something I can do to to help you. Despite its name Sports Massage is for both sports persons and non sports persons alike. 

The work doesn't end on the table however. Once we have identified your issues, I'll work with you to plan a recovery programme that will help ensure the injury lessens and eventually goes away. 

 

Regardless of your sport or profession, it is important to redress imbalances built up through training and everyday activities. By doing so, you allow greater freedom of movement and consequently, better quality of life.

Before We Get Started

Regardless of whether you have had sports massage before, in our first session we'll undertake a physical and mobility assessment to drill in to what currently might be standing in the way of your goals.

Assessment

We'll go through some strength and mobility tests to find out what's really going on, and get to work on treatment.

Rehabilitation

Sports massage on its own is only half the work. It might be physio pilates or other strength work is required afterwards.

Analysis

If we aren't focussing on spot treatment and have a more long term rehab plan, we can monitor your progress.
